About Me
I am avid weekend road cyclist living in Toronto, Ontario. I started serious cycling around age 15 back in my home town of St. John's, Newfoundland when I saw the movie "Breaking Away" and started a short lived racing career in 1983 at the age of 18. Now 45 and living in Toronto, I cycle to stay in shape and because I love every minute of it. My blog is, for the most part, about me trying to reach my cycling goals. Hope you enjoy!
In 2009, I set an initial goal of riding 1200km for the year. I surpassed that goal on June 27th and then topped my 2nd goal of 2100km on November 8th, finishing out 2009 with 2111km.
I had a bit of an off year in 2010, only making 868km total. For 2011 I'm aiming for a minimum of 1300km (and you can track my progress above).Blog Links (Wanna Trade?)
